Not sure how much power you need? Follow this handy Honda Wattage Estimate Guide to help you choose what is best for you.
Starting power versus operating power? Electrical loads are mostly divided into two types of load: resistive and reactive. Resistive loads such as light bulbs, coffee maker, usually include a resistance to provide or generate heat, and use the same amount of power to start and operate the appliance or application.
Reactive loads such as furnace fans, A/C, refrigerators, usually include an electrical motor that needs additional power to start or starting power. Once started, these appliances or applications operate normally or operating power.
Maximum power refers to the maximum output a generator can supply. It usually is for no more than 30 minutes.
